Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada – 14 January 2011 – Complex Games has just launched the website for a new project EMÜD, a virtual world and game being developed under partnership with Dr. Roberta Woodgate, Research Chair for Child and Youth Health and Illness at the University of Manitoba Faculty of Nursing.

EMÜD is a virtual world being designed to support Dr. Woodgate's research on children suffering from cancer. Further details about the project can be uncovered at the EMÜD website at http://www.emud.ca, the first major release of the title is planned for early 2nd Quarter 2011.

Complex Games is overjoyed to announce that we have just received the Canada New Media Award for Best Web-Game for our work on the One Ocean Online Project.

Complex Games worked with Tactica to produce the One Ocean Online Virtual World and Interactive experience.  One Ocean is a CBC documentary mini-series starring David Suzuki and produced by Merit Motion Pictures.
